Stopmotion- Abstract
My first impression to abstract stop motion was that it would take a long time to work with and I was confused on how I would show different perspectives and dimensions.
This was the first time I used Dragon Frame and I found it easy to use and learn. I also enjoyed using it because it easy to navigate around.
I did not really enjoy doing abstract stop motion because the process was quite long and I feel like the shapes were difficult to create. Moving them was also difficult because they will never be the same shape in the next frame.
Towards the end of the animation, we decided to make the pieces larger to indicate a zoom in and perhaps suggest something is blooming.
If I were to do this again, I would adjust the camera settings to make the animation look more monochromatic and less of a shine in the background. I would also neaten the shapes up if we had more time. I would also change the transitions they do when they move around to show a variety of movement.

I found this animation after creating our animation and I liked how things moved in a pulse.
