Stopmotion- Pixelation
At first I was excited to experiment with stop motion because I was so curious about the production process. When I thought of stop motion, I immediately thought of claymation because most stop motion films I have seen were created from clay.

Manipulating objects and creating something odd was interesting to me. We had to work in groups and I think it went well for me. We communicated our ideas clearly and created a short narrative within the short amount of time we had.
My opinion of the production process was satisfying because I like playing back the animation constantly and seeing if movements are flowing well but using a mobile phone was annoying to use because sometimes the movements would seem glitchy as we wouldn’t have enough pictures in between transitions and it would come out weird. The onion skin helped a lot when adjusting the camera angles. We used the app ‘Stop Motion Studio’.

If I were to do this project again, I would shoot more shots to show a smoother transition. I would also extend the ending so it doesn’t look to sped up and the viewer will have time to process the storyline. I would also include sound.
